What if zuko
Zuko is a great redemption arc, who doesn't want to see that in his family member. So who knows as the stories go on? I know she went down a different kind of place in the comic books, but I think there's always room for hope. Have you watched Avatar: The Last Airbender? We all know Korra can be quick to anger when she's pushed to her emotional limits, so would she have been as merciful to Fire Lord Ozai as Aang was in the Avatar finale?
But had it happened in Season 3, I don't know. I do not know. And that's one of the things that's been so fun about doing the podcast together, is that we've had fans and our fellow actors who play characters in the show, we've had a handful of people really point out it actually really makes sense that Korra and Zuko would end up on a podcast together.
While nothing official beyond that announcement has been revealed, we wanted to know if the former Avatar stars could shine some light on what's to come. But it is one of those things where, as much as people want to know, and I totally understand, I understand that fandom that wants to steal the Game of Thrones script from the set and leak it because everyone's so passionate about it. I get it. There are also novels that further expand that world.
Zuko's search for his mother, which is a loose end from the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender , is explored in the comics. Let us know what you think in the comments, and check out many other deep, thought-provoking videos on our YouTube channel!

He's currently trying to work his way through a pile of unread books that threatens to come crashing down, burying everything he loves and cares about, including his cat. Aang even admitted that he couldn't beat the Dali without the avatar state.
So I don't think the events would change much with the Dali involved. I think they would have still won, but I believe Azula when she said that she needed Zuko for something. As Neo Bahamut pointed out, she may have predicted that something would go wrong, and she would need a scapegoat to her father--someone other than herself to take the fall so she would still appear as the superior sibling. She's not that good at prediction. They probably would've lost anyway, Iroh was the success to their escape, but at that point Zuko was a better firebender than Iroh and Azula.
Seeing as this IS why she let Zuko take the credit, it wouldn't be that shocking if it was her plan the entire time.
Her predictions about Aang have almost nothing to do with her manipulative prowess over Zuko. Also, so far as the audience knows, Iroh might have been the best firebender of his time.
I really doubt Zuko could beat anyone in his family in Agni Kai even by the end of the series, i. Of the Royal Family, Zuko just happened to move up one position from worst in order of mental stability, since Azula went off the deep end.
Even in the last agni kai, Zuko was, at best, on par with Azula for the first time due to her mental instability paired with his new technique.
He had only gotten better at firebending due to his visit with the dragons, which was way after Ba Sing Se.
