Who is saad ibn muadh

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. We read these biography and think about our situation. Every one of us is mad about this world. Like for example we are sending our daughters even daughters of religious people to the universities for worthless degrees. Why are not anyone talking against that. And why are we letting our daughters to go to work with other men, is that OK? Are we so greedy? He did not care but for the truth and was martyred. Moreover, he gave preference to the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger to the pleasure of his own people when he passed a verdict that their troops should be killed and their offsprings should be enslaved.

That judgment was in comliance with the judgment of Allah to the extent that the Messenger of Allah peace be upo him said: "you have judged according to the ruling of the King Allah.

Likewise his situation in the Battle of Badr when the Prophet peace be upon him consulted his Companions and he replied with good words which indicated his love, courage, and yearning to martyrdom and also his situation in the Battle of Al Khandaq Trench when he was martyred.

He headed the people who recieved the Prophet peace be upon him at his arrival. He also witnessed the Battle of Badr and other battles until he was wounded in the Battle of Al Ahzab and his hand vein was cut.

Alukah is a rich, cultural website supervised by Dr. Khaled El-Jeraissy and Dr. Saad El-Hmed. The lamp of prophethood 5 "O Um Khalid! Few days later Madinah witnessed a horrible siege. It was in fact a siege which it brought upon itself rather than was forced upon it due to the trench that was dug as protection and safety procedure. The Muslims were prepared for the war. Saad Ibn Muaadh RA marched around with his sword and spear and recited lines of poetry meaning: I waited anxiously for the battle to start.

How beautiful death seems when the time is the right time. But if the war has ended, please make my wounds pave my way to martyrdom. Allah did fulfil his supplication. His injury caused his death but not before he had taken revenge on the Jews of Bani Quraidah. Coming section of discussion shall tell us about this. Therefore, he ordered his companions to march towards Bani Quraidah, and the Muslims besieged them there for 25 days.

When the Jews were certain that there was no escape from the Muslims, they pleaded to let Saad Ibn Muaadh RA , their ally in pagan times, decide their fate.

You take us any where you want, you push us in any battle, We will defend you, defend till our last breath. No arrow can touch you, before it passing form our chests. We have tied a relationship of life and death with you. If you seek to cross the seas or go in it, We will follow Your Command and none among us will remain behind.

We are patient in war, vicious in battle. May Allah allow you to witness from our efforts what comforts your eyes. Therefore, march forward with the blessing of Allah. Then Miqdad RA continued By God!

We will not say, as the disciples of Prophet Moses Jews said "You and Your Allah go and fight with infidels, we are sitting right here. We will die first, before enemy reaches you. Sa'd was one of the few companions who remained on the battlefield, when the Meccans led Khalid bin Walid counterattacked the unsuspecting Muslims and fought fiercely against the attacking Meccans. He later met up with Muhammad and was part of the small contingent Muslims defending him. After the Battle of the Trench in 5 AH , when Medina was unsuccessfully besieged by the Meccan army, the Banu Qurayza had treacherous dealings with the enemy.

Later the Muslims laid siege to their stronghold and the Banu Qurayza surrendered unconditionally after several weeks of siege. There was an important service he would do for Islam. Sons of Qurayza Jews had signed a treaty with the Muslims but they violated this treaty during the Battle of Khandaq by cooperating with the polytheists. When he approached Qurayza, the Messenger of Allah said,.

This decree existed in the Torah too. The Prophet became pleased with this decree and said,. The Messenger of Allah, Hz. Abu Bakr and Hz. Umar were there too. His wound started to bleed again. However, he did not heed it. For, God Almighty showed him the defeat of the polytheists in the Battle of Khandaq and the destruction of Sons of Qurayza.

He was about to die as a martyr. A Companion asked Hz. Aisha whether the Messenger of Allah wept or not. She said,. However, when he felt sorry for someone, he would hold his beard. Somebody took a piece of soil from his grave. He felt that the soil emitted a nice smell. It is narrated that the most beloved person for the Prophet among the Muhjairs was Hz.
